900 North Michigan Green Roof East

DMA is providing project management services to JMB Realty for the construction of a 15,000 sf green roof addition on the 9th floor office podium at 900 North Michigan Avenue. Hoerr + Schaudt is involved in the project that expands upon the green roofs installed on the west side of the property. Shapiro Associates is the architect for the office and interior retrofits and Linn Mathes is the general contractor responsible for the construction of the entire project. The intensive green roof will include a 700 sf terrace and a variety of irrigated sedums, grasses, trees and flowering perennials. This project is being completed in conjunction with requisite lower level structural retrofits in the retail and hotel levels and a 9th floor office reconfiguration to subdivide space to improve leasing prospects — Project completed fall of 2010.
